We think you will be particularly sad to end your drive through Wales, but don’t worry.  You won’t be distraught for long! The Crown is one of only two establishments in Wales to hold a Michelin Star and they do so because this isn’t just going out for a meal, it’s a “Total Dining Experience”.  So now it’s time to relax and enjoy the exquisite blend of local and international flavours that will follow.  To compliment the food there is a choice of over 200 different wines, and expert help is on hand to ensure your taste buds work in harmony.  You can spend the night in one of the individually prepared executive rooms then enjoy a hearty Welsh breakfast the next day.

 

While you are here why not take a look at the remarkably complete ruins of Tintern Abbey?  Symonds Yat is also only a few miles away.  This conservation area is comprised of rare Yew woodland and limestone cliffs which are home to the Peregrine Falcon (the fastest bird in the world!).  Then with that concept of speed fresh in your mind, its time for the journey back…
