Le Mans needs no introduction. The most famous race in the world and the best car show. If you have never been and you love cars, it’s a must. But this year we are doing the Classic Le Mans.
We plan to leave Shropshire on Friday 8th July do a group run down via Dover to Calais then half autoroute and half A roads to Le Mans. We book everyone going on our stunning little camp site 2 miles from Arnage. We arrange as much logistics as you want while you are there and you just enjoy yourselves. We have done the Le Mans trip on many occasions but this is our first classic. We expect the same eclectic mix of cars, food and wine that dominates the race weekend, just amongst a little more discerning company.
We up camp and leave on Monday with a mandatory wine stop in Calais. Prices are tba at this stage while we decide whether to actually camp or not but ball park expect circa £500 per car team in your own car and £2,500 to take an Eau Rouge car.
