What’s So Good About Eau Rouge Track Days?
We know what its like to drive a tired Golf GTI
to a track day and hope it holds together
while you hammer it round a track and then
have it break down on the way home, and
all of a sudden your “bargain track day”
has become a bit of a disaster.
We also know what it costs to keep and maintain and transport a purpose built track car to a series of events and the worry about breaking it!
Well, no more. You just book yourself on an “Eau Rouge Open Track Day”, turn up and enjoy yourself! Please do not confuse Eau Rouge Track Days with a “Red Letter” type “Experience” where you are just briefly allowed to sample a tired diluted road car for 15 minutes. None of our cars are governed or limited in any way and you will be free to use the cars you want whenever you want unaccompanied, in an open pit lane format during the day. We are genuine enthusiasts and we want you to enjoy the cars as much as we do.How Does It Work?
All new members will be asked to take the “Eau Rouge Driving Test” on their first track day with us. This is so we can assess your driving and you can prove to us you will be capable of handling our genuinely fast track and race cars.
You will then have access to ARDS qualified instructors who will be available to help you get the most out of the cars.
Our only stipulations are that no car is out for longer than 15 minutes at a time: the driver and the car will both need a break by then. And the cars can not be out on track for any more than 30 minutes of every hour.How Much Does It Cost?
The basic cost of an Eau Rouge Track Day will be 400 points. If you are not a member you can buy points at £1.25 each. This equates approximately to one session in each of the cars in one day.
However, the actual price you pay will depend on what cars you drive and for how long. The table below shows the points values for each car per 15 minute session at a normal track day. Over the year some days may run at a premium over this eg Silverstone GP or at a discount ie Anglesey in January! Where it does we will quote a number in the event description which represents the percentage increase or decrease from that below.

Throughout the course of a day, if you excuse the pun, inevitably some people will end up getting more track time, or will want more track time than others. A member may miss out if the circuit is red flagged for a period of time or a torrential downpour means you can't or don’t want to go out on track.
By costing the day like this everyone pays for the actual track time they get and if they don’t drive as much in the hotter cars, then it has not cost them as much. If, at the end of the day, you have used more than 400 points, we will just charge your account or you can buy more points as needed.
We will never plan to over book the cars, but telling us what you would like from a day will help us to structure it. 6 runs in the Eurocar with a siting session in the MX5 is fine by us and would cost 780 points. 5 sessions in the Westfield would cost 450 points and a spin, just not literally please in each would be 405 points Instructed laps are available all day and will be charged at half the rate of self drive laps.
That price includes absolutely everything including the fuel you use on the day. There are no hidden extras but you will have to supply a pre-auth on your credit card against damage. See T&C's.
Coffee and Tea will be available in the Eau Rouge pits all day.
Can I try Before I Buy?
You will be more than welcome to call in and see us on a track day. We will be happy to talk you through and show you what goes on. We also do a “Taste of Eau Rouge Life” package. The cost of this is £250 to non-members and includes driver training in the novice car, free lapping in a Westfield or Caterham and finally a full on hot lap in the Exige or Eurocar. Beware you will be utterly smitten once you have experienced this…What is the Difference between “Open” and “Exclusive” Track Days?
Open track days are designed for individuals who wish to try a number of different cars in one day, although experienced Eau Rouge members will be able to choose their favourite car if they wish to use that exclusively.
Exclusive track days can be booked by a group of people or a company. We can do 2, 3 or 4 car days and prices start from about £2,000 Inc VAT. We can cater for groups of up to ten people. Please call for more details.
