Ducati 916. The defintition of the ultimate motorcycling icon. Synonymous with Carl Foggerty and WSB in the 1990´s, the Duke´s looks are still timeless and stunning, the handling and ability to corner is simply sublime and the noise and drama of that Termi Clad Italian V Twin is just something else.  Its is an event to ride the 916, you have to work at it and only then do you understand what its all about. Yes the clutch is heavy, and the green neutral light on the dash is purely cosmetic but it is fantastic and so much more rewarding than any Japanese bike.

 

It is also my favourite sound track of the entire Eau Rouge Fleet, and it is up against some pretty stiff competition!
