When the Lotus Elise was released to the world 11 years ago we were all blown away by the pin sharp handling and its fantastic looks. That car had under 120bhp and yet still went from 0-60mph in about 6 seconds! But what we have here is the climax of 8 years of Elise evolution. 

The Exige Cup 240R was conceived by the motorsport division Lotus, home of the best chassis engineers in the world, bar none, to be the ultimate incarnation of the original Elise package.   This car has a 243bhp supercharged engine which revs to 8500rpm.  It has fully adjustable Ohlins suspension.  It has an accusump high pressure oil delivery system, so you don’t run out of engine lubrication while exploiting that chassis.  It comes with a roll cage and harnesses as standard.

Ours has a sexy motorsport stripe over the top and it is one of the best looking cars in the world. Its British, it’s very good, and oh. It’s very fast!! This car will go from 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and will do 100mph in less than 10 seconds.  It will lap the ‘ring in 8 minutes. Even the non cup standard “S” Exige laps the west circuit of Bedford Autodrome faster than a Koenisegg.  This isn't the standard supercharged Exige its the faster better handling ultimate trackday version.  And YOU can drive this car on a RACE TRACK!!!
